Every Kindle has a personal email address. Email a document to it and it appears in your library over Wi-Fi. To use it, you do two quick things: find your address, and tell Amazon to trust the sender.
1. Find your @kindle.com address
- Go to Amazon → Manage Your Content & Devices.
- Open the Preferences tab → Personal Document Settings.
-
Under Send-to-Kindle Email Settings you’ll see an
address like
yourname_a1b2@kindle.com. That’s the one.
2. Approve the sender
Amazon only accepts documents from senders you’ve allowed. On the same page, under Approved Personal Document Email List, add the QuokkaReads sending address (we show it to you at signup). This stops random email from reaching your Kindle.
That’s it. From now on, anything we send lands in your Kindle library automatically — usually within a minute.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing arrived? Double-check the sender is on your approved list and your Kindle is on Wi-Fi.
- Wrong device? Each Kindle/app has its own address — make sure you used the right one.
- Big post with lots of images? Amazon caps documents at 25 MB; we compress images to stay under it.
